Games and Writing

Developed using Sploder's Game Design tool. "[Computational] procedures build a system and then ask the player to move through that system" (Brown and Alexander 272). But sometimes the players stop moving. The enemies and hazards overwhelm them. And sometimes student writers feel similarly overwhelmed in FYC and other courses. This "game" responds to the Through Games and Writing Games sections of Play/Write, and is designed to represent the burdens faced writing in an increasingly digital age.
